IESA- Technical Study Tour

IESA launches the maiden technical tour for global energy executives to explore energy storage and Microgrid opportunities in India.

The India Energy Storage Alliance has recently announced its first technology study tour for India. This tour is the most comprehensive conglomeration of strategic meetings with over 70 stakeholders in the energy arena in India, and is aimed at senior executives from leading technology, system integration and project development companies, who are exploring options to enter Indian market.

This week long tour encompasses three geographical areas in India (New Delhi, Mumbai and Pune) to give a first-hand perspective of the status of the energy storage landscape in India as well as the way forward. Delegates on this tour will get an opportunity to interact and share views not only with central government statutory bodies, regulators and utilities, but also with potential large users of energy storage (members of the IESA Knowledge Partner Network). Key aspects are expected to be addressed during this week long tour which will pave the way for the future of energy storage and microgrids in India.
